CalAmp and PROCON Settle Patent Infringement Suit

CalAmp Corp. CAMP, a leading provider of wireless products, and PROCON, Inc., a leading location based solution provider, today announced a settlement of patent litigation. PROCON and CalAmp have granted licenses to each other relating to systems that apply Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to track and report the location of vehicles to resolve all matters between the parties. As a result of this cross licensing agreement, CalAmp and PROCON believe their customers will benefit from receiving quality products that incorporate state-of-the-art design and features.
