Spireon Welcomes Terry Prime, new Chief Technology Officer

Knoxville, TN, June 1, 2012 - Spireon, the leading provider of Mobile Resource Management and business intelligence solutions used by companies to maximize their mobile assets and workforce, welcomes Terry Prime to their executive team as the company's the new Chief Technology Officer.

As Spireon's CTO, Prime will be responsible for product development and service operations across the company's multiple information platforms.

Prime brings 27 years of international experience in the computer and telecommunications industries, working with companies small and large in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. He played an instrumental role in four successful technology startups, including as the Vice President of Engineering at Lightspeed that was acquired by Cisco Systems. While at Cisco, Prime led Research & Development for a number of Voice Over IP and web network management technologies. He was also behind the launch of Cisco products that generated $250 million in revenue around the world.

As the Vice President of Engineering at LogicaCMG Wireless Networks, Prime led Unified Messaging and Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC) product development. Following this experience, Prime founded nexVortex, a web-based service provider for business-critical applications. There, he served as CEO and CTO, and continues to serve on the company's board of directors.

Prime's extensive past experience additionally includes his tenure as the CTO at ARC Solutions, an SaaS provider of association management software, as well as his role as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at SaaS-based GPS fleet tracking company Wireless Matrix.
