Now that we are all back at our desks and back to the grind, its time to go over some of the highlights from this year’s 2012 NADA event. ProconGPS’ representatives have shared their thoughts on the highly anticipated event below:
Mark Behnke, overseeing the Central Region, explains his thoughts on the Franchise dealerships presence at the show: “This was the best attended NADA show in years! Combining ATD and NADA was greatly appreciated by a number of the dealers that I had the chance to speak with. There was a lot of interest in Special Financing from the Franchise dealers and there is a large number already providing BHPH (Special Finance) at their dealerships. The Franchise dealers exclusively sought us out at the show, knowing we are the largest provider of asset protection solutions on the market. We went to great efforts to educate these dealers on why they need to establish their own BHPH offering and how to best protect those assets with the implementation of GPS tracking devices. It has become evident that these dealers will need reliable asset protection and that Franchise dealers are having a significant impact on the BHPH market”
Neil Fisher, representing ProconGPS’ Easter Region, stated: “This was a great show, and an overall success! I think everyone would agree it was one of the best shows we have exhibited at in some time. The flow of traffic was never-ending, and the quality of leads was extremely high. This show gave us the opportunity to reach a group of dealers that were not only interested in our products, but specifically the franchise dealer market. This was a perfect way to kick-off 2012 as the BHPH market takes off on an entire new level, and we are looking forward to future events that will put us in front of more dealers.”
Cesar Yepez, Marketing Coordinator for ProconGPS’s Dealer Services Division, also saw the benefit of exhibiting at the event “The NADA 2012 was a great expo! The traffic was significantly higher than last year and we were able to gain more leads than year’s prior. The change from the dealer’s perspective compared to two years ago was apparent, which gave us the opportunity to educate numerous prospects on the turn the market is taking towards BHPH. There were numerous international dealers that were interested in our GPS vehicle tracking devices as well. Two years ago Dealers were asking questions about how to get into the BHPH market, but this time around we had more dealers that already do Special Financing or BHPH and now they are looking for solutions to enhance their operations and reduce their risk. The dealers were more educated on the market and were looking for better solutions, so we were set up to demonstrate our 2 industry leading solutions.”
The show did in fact set records for attendance and the entire city of Las Vegas was alive with professionals from the Auto industry this past Super Bowl weekend. Next up… back to Las Vegas for the Leedom 2012 World Convention Conference in April!
